Who we are

The Malta MPRP Guide is an independent information platform. TODO before launch: insert the operating entity's legal name, address and contact email, and the data protection contact.

What we collect and why

• Contact and enquiry forms. Name, email address, country, your message and, where you choose to give them, phone number, preferred contact method, budget, timeframe and family size. We use this to answer your enquiry and, if you ask about a property or a consultation, to pass your enquiry to the relevant listing agency or licensed professional. Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
• Assessment and calculator. Your answers are processed in your browser and on our server only to produce the result. We do not store your answers. If you ask us to email a result, we send it to the address you enter and do not keep a copy of the answers.
• Document checklist. Ticked items are saved in your own browser (local storage) only.
• Usage analytics. We record page views and tool usage without cookies. We store the page, coarse device type, referrer domain and a daily-rotating hash that cannot be reversed to identify you. No IP addresses are stored.
• Admin accounts. Staff accounts hold name, email and a password hash.

Retention

Enquiries are kept while we deal with them and for up to 24 months afterwards unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics events are aggregated and raw events deleted after 13 months.

Sharing

We share enquiry details only with the listing agency or licensed professional you asked us to contact, and with service providers that host our platform and send email on our behalf. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing, by contacting us. You may complain to the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (Malta) or your local supervisory authority.
