Comino
Also: Kemmuna
A small, largely uninhabited island between Malta and Gozo, famous for the Blue Lagoon. A nature reserve and day-trip destination with no permanent residential market.

Comino lies in the channel between Malta and Gozo. It has a handful of permanent residents, a chapel, St Mary's Tower (built by the Knights in 1618) and the Blue Lagoon, whose turquoise water draws large numbers of day visitors in summer.
Visitor information
Comino is reached by boat from Ċirkewwa (Malta) and Mġarr (Gozo) and by organised tours. There is no bus service, no hospital and very limited shade and facilities; visitor numbers to the Blue Lagoon are managed in peak season. The island and surrounding waters are protected areas.
Not a residential location
There is no property market on Comino and tourist information here should not be read as information about living on the island. For nearby residential options see Mellieħa and Għajnsielem.
