Żejtun

A historic southern town with a baroque parish church, Roman remains, a traditional core and newer residential areas, near Marsaxlokk and the airport.
Żejtun is one of the oldest towns in the south, with a Roman villa site, a sixteenth-century church and the baroque St Catherine's parish church by Lorenzo Gafà. It has a strong local identity and offers traditional townhouses and newer housing within easy reach of Marsaxlokk, Marsaskala and the airport.
