Qawra occupies the headland between St Paul's Bay and Salina Bay. The promenade runs past the National Aquarium to Qawra Point and the seventeenth-century Qawra Tower; hotels and apartment blocks line the seafront, and the Salina salt pans and nature reserve are to the east.
